Hire a Friend to Be Your Mid-Goal Attainment Guardian

We've all heard that song; "I Get by with a Little Help from My Friends," and maybe that might be a strategy if you are trying to accomplish your goals.
As you know the best way to accomplish a very big goal in your life is to break it down into smaller goals.
And you must keep track of your progress, but what happens if you start sliding, and become lackadaisical, and don't give it the effort you need each and every day? Well, this is why maybe you do need a little help from your friends, and I'd like to discuss this with you today.
Now then, what I recommend is that you find a few of your friends, and explain to them your goals, and then show them how you have these goals listed, and all the dates where you hope to accomplish various mile markers towards the main goal.
And tell them you are worried that you may not be able to keep up on all this, and you might need their help from time to time.
Once you show them your goals, and your timeline, you can bet they will ask you every time they see you how you are doing on accomplishing your goals.
Once you have someone else watching over you, sometimes this can give you the extra push to go ahead and accomplish one of the smaller goals along your journey, even when you don't have enough self-motivation to do it yourself.
Also, there is a very good book I'd like you to read, and this will help you stay on track, in case your friends are not as hard on you as they ought to be to see that you accomplish what you set out to do.
Okay so, this is a book that I own personally, and the name of the book is; "QBQ! The Question behind the Question - What to Really Ask Yourself to Eliminate Blame, Complaining, and Procrastination (Practicing Personal Accountability at Work and in Life) by John G Miller, published by Putnam Books, New York, NY, 115 pages, ISBN: 0-399-15233-4.
Why do I recommend this book? It's simple, because often we set goals which are too high for ourselves, and then we start to fall off our timeline.
At that point we need to catch back up, and not let it turn into a never ending process, which will prevent us from reaching our lofty high expectations.
The reality is you can do anything you want in life, but you can't ever give up.
That's why it helps to have a good friend watching over you, and to read a good motivational self help book once in a while.
Indeed I hope you will please consider all this and think on it.
